Ojas.Plus is being built to close that gap. What runs today is the part that teaches it — the Ojas Academy, an expert desk you can see the rates and open times of, and structured drafts you can ask for.

A goshala (a cattle shelter) churning bilona ghee (hand-churned, the slow way). A ghani oil maker (a wooden cold-press) whose oil is genuinely better. A dyer working with madder and indigo. An FPO with grain above the mandi (wholesale market) grade and no way to say so. A family making a podi (a dry spice powder) to a method nobody outside the house has. Different work — exactly the same shape of problem.

Someone else sets your price
- The buyer names a number and you take it, because the person next to you will.
- You know your ghee is better. It sells for the same as everyone else’s.
- You priced it from what the trader offered, not from what it costs you to make.

- “Send me your spec sheet.” You sent photographs of the process.
- A test costs more than the order was worth, so you didn’t do it.
- Every buyer asks different questions and you answer from memory, differently each time.

Your name doesn’t travel with your work
- It leaves in a sack with no label and comes back as a brand you’ve never heard of.
- The exporter’s name is on the box. Your work is inside it.
- Nobody who buys the finished thing knows you exist.

On paper, the work barely exists

“Commodity” isn’t a kind of goods. It’s what happens when nobody can tell yours apart.
A practice lives in a person. An institution lives in a system — a written method, a batch you can trace, a number a buyer can check, and a name that travels without you standing next to it.
Nobody ever handed you that system. Every standard was written for a factory with a quality department, and every tool for a company with a compliance team — so you answer each buyer from memory, differently each time, and the excellence stays in your hands where nobody can verify it.

Cohort capacity is a label, not a counter. It is stored and shown, and nothing counts against it, so it cannot tell you whether a cohort is full.

- No supplier network, no lot record, no traceability. The seven families further down are the shape of the work, not a marketplace you can order from.
- No herd, no animal record, no sensor reading, no telemetry — nothing in the software knows what a milk yield is.
- No booking screen for an expert session. The rails behind it are real; the slot picker that would let you choose a time and pay for it yourself is not built, so today a person arranges it.
- Nothing on this site is listed for sale. No programme, session or listing carries a buy button, so every path here ends in an enquiry a person answers.
- No lending, and no filing. We prepare drafts; a licensed professional signs them, and a lender or a regulator decides.

The thing we are actually trying to build is the dossier.
Everything above is the education layer. This is the industrial one, and none of the five steps below exists in our software: no specification model, no test result, no batch record, no supplier network. Our own record of this venture says the same thing in the same words — the industrial layers are scoped, not built — and that is the reason this section carries a badge instead of a button.

Can I book and pay for an expert session on the site?
Not yet, and the reason is narrower than it sounds. The rails are built: when a consultation payment is captured, the slot is reserved, the booking confirms itself, and — where the expert is linked to a payout party record — their share posts to our double-entry ledger without anyone touching it. What is missing is the screen — the slot picker that would let you do it yourself. Today you send a request and a person arranges the session and the payment.
Does Ojas.Plus test, certify or manufacture anything?
No. There is no laboratory, no testing programme and no product or material certification behind Ojas.Plus — not FSSAI, not AYUSH, not BIS, and none of the organic or textile marks an overseas buyer asks for. Those come from accredited bodies and licensed auditors. We teach what the standards ask for and we help you prepare; the certificate comes from someone else, and so does the manufacturing. The one thing we issue is an Ojas Academy course certificate, and it carries a verification code anyone can check.
Are the project reports bankable?
No, not as generated. A project report or formulation card from Ojas.Plus is a structured draft — capex, opex, break-even and working-capital schedules laid out so you are not starting from a blank page. A licensed professional has to review and sign it before a lender or a regulator will act on it. We do not employ a panel that does that for you, and we warrant no outcome.
What does it cost, and can I pay on the site?
The Academy programmes and the expert sessions are priced when we scope them with you — the expert desk shows each specialist’s rate on their page, so you can see that number before you ask. How does Ojas.Plus connect to the rest of the Ojas ecosystem?
The Ojas products share one backend and one double-entry ledger; each is its own site with its own sign-in today. Ojas Care lets you browse and book spaces. Ojas Events runs occasions and ticketing. Ojas Legal keeps a compliance calendar and routes work to licensed professionals — it prepares, it does not file to any government portal. Ojas Loans lets you compare indicative loan products, and Ojas is never the lender.
